PMI delivers structured online diplomas in the orthopaedic subspecialties, co-developed with The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery. Each diploma runs as a live cohort: weekly case-based seminars taught by practising surgeons, recorded for on-demand access, and concluding with a written assessment. Three cohorts are open for enrolment now.

Live, case-based teaching from practising surgeons. Limited places per cohort.
Course Directors: Mr Omar Sabri and Mr Simon Craxford
Scope: Polytrauma, pelvis and acetabulum, upper and lower limb, complications and special populations.
Scope: Rotator cuff, instability, arthroplasty, shoulder trauma and the elbow.
For ST6+ and post-CCT surgeons
Scope: Growth-plate injuries, high-volume paediatric fractures and the critical emergencies.
Scope: Primary and metastatic bone tumours, diagnostics and adjuvant management.
How the diplomas work
Every Orthopaedic Diploma is delivered entirely online, with structured weekly live seminars and full on-demand access for anyone who cannot attend a session.
Evidence-based lectures, operative tips from senior surgeons, and interactive case discussion. Live, with full recordings.
Every module is produced by the consultants who operate on these patients every week, not by teaching-only academics.
Short, self-marked question sets anchor each session and build towards the final written assessment.
A written paper at the end of the cohort. Successful delegates receive a certificate of completion.
